From Teacher/Mom/Volunteer to Founder of Smart Playrooms, meet Karri Bowen-Poole in this episode of the Guru Salon. Karri has spent the last 10 years revolutionizing the way children learn and play. The idea came to her in the middle of the night. After spending 12 years teaching and years as a mom observing poorly designed, cluttered playrooms, she knew she was on to something. Once Karri refined her vision, she placed an ad in her local paper to test the waters - and word spread from there. She has designed hundreds of playrooms, customizing each one to fit the needs and interests of her clients' children. Her spaces are designed to continually engage children and grow alongside them.
